Full-Time Training - Testimonies

The Next Step, K.G.

I grew up in a Christian family and in a Christian environment. The ones who cared for me were faithful in teaching me concerning God, God's purpose in creating man, the eternal salvation through Jesus, and the result of everything we are doing today (1 John 3:2). I believe it was the Lord's mercy that I was put in such a situation. Then, the summer before I entered high school, I attended a training in Irving, Texas. During that time, they spoke about our need of training and that there would be a Full-Time Training in the coming years. At that time, something in me said that that was the right thing to do.

I went through high school, and then went through an extended period of college, but I finally made it. I had finished my formal education and was ready for the next step. As college is the next step for many high schoolers, I felt that the Full-Time Training, spiritually speaking, was the next step for me after college.

Now that I am about finished with these two years, I am very happy that I chose to come to the FTTA. What I have gained here will be an excellent base for the next step of my Christian life, whatever that may be.

The FTT gave me many opportunities to gain the Lord and to know Him. I have to say that the FTT also showed me who I am. Sometimes what I have seen has surprised me, but these experiences are priceless, because it is through these experiences that I have begun to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, because I am being conformed to His death (Philippians 3:10).

I have to say honestly, with all my heart, that I would not give up one minute of my two years here in the training; for I believe that they will be an eternal weight of glory.
